If you are late up to 15 minutes, we may need to shorten your service to accommodate for the next scheduled appointment.

If you are late more than 15 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and as a result the cancellation policy above will be in effect: Cancellations, rescheduling, or service downgrades within 48 hours of appointment start time will be responsible for 100% of original service fee, which will be charged automatically to the card on file. All services are covered with a 7 day warranty. During this period we can fix chips, breaks, and imperfections shortening the life of the manicure.

For any requests outside of this period, you have 2 options:

1. You may text us to book a Repair appointment to repair up to 2 nails. A repair appointment for 1-2 nails is $45 and 30-45 minutes.

2. If more than 2 nails have broken, a normal appointment should be scheduled.

You've heard the saying: your nails are "tools not jewels." But what does "tool" mean?

Examples:

- Using your thumbs to open flip top containers like toothpaste...

- Using your nail to open mail and boxes...

- Typing with the tips of your nails...

- Using your thumb to remove teeth retainers...

- Opening soda cans...

- Picking labels or stickers off objects or food...

- Using your nails as leverage inside a rag or towel while cleaning...

- Not wearing gloves when washing dishes...

- Prolonged daily submersion in baths and pools. This isn't "tool" behavior but long, regular submersion does expand and contract the natural nail under the enhancement, causing more lifting and breaking of nail enhancements. Enhancements do not expand and contract. The natural nail does when submerged.

All of these create leverage on the nail enhancement and cause them to lift away from the natural nail. This lifting damages the natural nail and can result in further, faster lifting of future nail sets.

One of the main reasons people book with us is our punctuality for services. We are always on time for the services you book with us. We are only able to provide this punctuality if we hold a tight schedule during service.

This means that in order to be on time for the next client, once a nail polish color or nail shape has been chosen and applied during an appointment, any requests for color or shape changes cannot be accommodated.

This policy ensures that our technicians can focus on delivering timely and meticulous services to all our clients without disruptions.

If you have any concerns about your chosen nail polish color before it is cured in the light, please communicate with your technician promptly during the service so that we can address your needs effectively. Once a file shape has been applied to the nail OR a color has been cured in the lamp, we cannot accommodate any changes.

No! If you are sick, please let me know right away to reschedule. I will not service someone with a contagious illness. I want you to rest and recover. As a private studio with limited availability, the cancellation policy may still apply.

No. My techniques are clean, gentle, pain-free, and customized to you and your comfort / sensitivity level.

Yes. Russian or American prep is available, but always performed safely and intentionally. That said, I prefer Russian manicure because of it's clean look and how it prevents hang nails and picking.

Yes. Russian or American prep is available, but always performed safely and intentionally. My American cuticle prep is still elevated and extremely clean, safe, and gorgeous. The biggest difference is that your Russian Manicures will look newer longer while American manicures look more grown out faster.

Yes, when performed by someone trained in correct e-file technique and sterilization. Russian prep allows for incredibly clean cuticles and longer-lasting gel, but it must be done with intention, light pressure, and proper tools. My method is focused on safety first, aesthetics second.

Sometimes, but not always. If your nails are extremely compromised, they may not be strong enough for gel services. We can, however, keep the cuticles clean and do IBX treatments to help them restore and repair.
